It is difficult to keep up with friendships in Hollywood – one day celebrities are best friends and the next they are sworn enemies. Just think about how quickly Katy Perry and Taylor Swift went from being great pals to having “bad blood.” The same applies to Hollywood couples. Recently, some of our favorite power couples have broken up, separated, and divorced. We are still mourning the loss of Brangelina and more recently, the split of Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan. It really is quite difficult to keep up with all of these celebrity friendships and romantic relationships, but it is even harder to keep up with those “maybe more than friends” duos.
We have all seen those super close celebrity friends before. They are the types of friends that sometimes get a little too touchy and intimate in public. They are the pairs that leave you wondering whether “something more” is going on in their friendship. Maybe these celebrities just like being a little too touchy feely with one another or maybe their relationships are more romantic than we think. Unless the celebrities admit it themselves, we can’t really confirm whether their friendship is intimate or not. But, celebrities are always lying about their romances. Rihanna and Drake constantly claimed to be “just friends,” but we all know the actual truth. If a celebrity duo appears to be more than just friends, they probably have been intimate at some point. Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid
A few years ago we would probably expect to see Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid featured on this list. The duo appeared to be inseparable at the time. But, in the recent months, it seems like Kendall traded in the older Hadid for her younger sister Bella. Kendall and Bella first met on Twitter when they were teenagers. The now it girls do everything together from modeling, attending basketball games, and traveling.
Kendall is the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner Klan that has remained fairly secretive about her love life. In the past, Kendall has been linked to Harry Styles, Cara Delevingne, Justin Bieber, A$AP Rocky, and most recently Blake Griffin. Ever since her split with The Weeknd, Bella has remained fairly low-key about her love life as well (even though she was just spotted kissing her ex at a Cannes party). Maybe the reason Kendall and Bella were so secretive about their love lives these past few months is because they were actually an item themselves. Think about it, instead of going on dates with other people, this pair of “friends” went on multiple dates with one another. It’s unfortunate that Kendall and Bella aren’t more than friends - that would be quite the scandal in the Hollywood, top-model world.
Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez
Have you ever wondered why both Taylor Swift’s and Selena Gomez’s romantic relationships keep falling apart? There must be a reason why these pop stars can’t seem to keep a boyfriend. Maybe these divas just suck at relationships or they are looking for some lyrical inspiration for their next hit songs. But, what if the reason is a bit more complicated than that?
Taylor and Selena’s friendship has lasted longer than any of their romantic relationships. The pair became friends when they both started dating a Jonas brother at the same time nearly a decade ago. Kim Kardashian and Jonathan Cheban
Jonathan Cheban is the longtime best friend of Kim Kardashian. He has been featured on Keeping Up with The Kardashians long before Kimye (or Kris Humphries for that matter) ever were. In the early seasons of KUWTK, Kim and Jonathan’s relationship was always questioned. They appeared to be more than friends on multiple occasions. From the matching Halloween costumes, to all of their steamy dinner dates, Kim and Jonathan have a very intimate friendship. Why would Kim dress in matching costumes with best friend Jonathan instead of her husband Kanye? There must have also been a reason why Kim’s ex-husband Kris appeared to hate Jonathan so much on earlier episodes of KUWTK. Maybe it was because Kim and Jonathan had a secret fling pre-Kanye.
Keeping secrets is what the Kardashians do best. Sure, every detail of their life is made public by the media, but just look how well they were able to hide Kylie’s pregnancy for the full 9 months. So, it is very likely that the Kardashian-Jenner klan have a few extra family secrets they have been hiding from the public. One of these secrets might be that Kim and Jonathan have a hidden romantic past.
Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato
If Demi Lovato hadn’t dated Joe Jonas back in those awkward, Camp Rock, Disney days, she would probably be with the younger Jonas brother right now. In addition, Selena Gomez, one of Demi’s long-term friends, dated Nick Jonas as well. Demi seems to be too loyal to cross those boundaries with her friends.
But, Demi and Nick have always had this weird, sensual tension between them. After her breakup with Joe, Demi remained especially close with Nick. The pair went on tour together, did Carpool Karaoke with James Corden, and even took steamy photos for Billboard Magazine. Their intimate friendship is always sparking dating rumors, to which the pair constantly denies. However, we can’t be too sure that they are telling the truth.
In Demi’s new album Tell Me You Love Me, fans speculate that the songs “Ruin The Friendship” and “Only Forever,” reference her romantic feelings for Nick. Apparently, Demi spells out Nick’s name in the songs and hints at their romantic connection during the Future Now tour. Demi has neither confirmed nor denied these speculations. Maybe this pair may never date because of all the Joe and Selena baggage attached to their relationship, but they still probably get a little freaky from time to time.
Young Thug and Future
For those of you who follow rap culture, you can probably confirm that Young Thug and Future are the newest, inseparable duo on the hip-hop scene. Throughout the years, there have been quite a few hip-hop bromances. First, we had Dr. Dre and Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre and Tupac. Yes, Dr. Dre has been through his fair share of best friends. Then there was Biggie Smalls and Diddy, Jay Z and Kanye West, and Drake and Lil Wayne. Former enemies Young Thug and Future have recently rekindled their friendship and are officially the newest bromance on the hip-hop scene. But, we think their friendship is a little more intimate than either rapper wants to publically admit.
Since these artists are both self-proclaimed thugs, you probably wouldn’t expect their relationship to be anything more than friendly. But, after getting each other’s names tattooed on themselves, we can’t be too sure that they are “just friends.” Sure, couples get their names tattooed on each other all the time. But, friends rarely ever do this. Well, unless they are secretly more than friends. Young Thug even revealed that these tattoos mean that their closeness will last “forever.”
Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne
Ever since Lil Wayne founded Young Money Entertainment back in 2005, romantic speculations about Nicki Minaj and all of her male counterparts have surfaced. Nicki Minaj has been linked on multiple occasions to Tyga, Drake, and Lil Wayne (just to name a few). But, Nicki and Wayne’s relationship was always a little steamier and more seductive than the rest. Music videos like “High School” show the pair in bed together, kissing and mimicking positions. Either their acting is Oscar worthy or the pair were actually intimate in real life (we think the latter).
It is super frustrating that the duo is constantly and rigorously denying dating and hookup rumors. They have been questioned by numerous news sources on whether their relationship was more than friendly. All new sources have been unsuccessful at getting a valid answer. In Nicki’s song “Only” the pair (and Drake) rapped about how they have never hooked up. Why did they feel the need to even include those lyrics in a song? Are they trying to mask the fact that something actually happened? Or are they actually telling the truth and tired of all the rumors? When friends constantly deny their intimacy, it makes us speculate the reality of their relationship even more.

From Game of Thrones sisters to real life friends, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams really do redefine what it means to be BFFs. This wouldn’t be the first time a GOT pair became a real life couple. Kit Harington (the beloved Jon Snow) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte) were quite the power couple on the show. Their connection on GOT was obviously real and sincere since the pair is now engaged and planning their wedding. So what if Sophie and Maisie are next in line to become the next in-real-life Game of Thrones couple? The only barrier stopping them is… Joe Jonas.
Sophie and Joe’s engagement came as a shock to almost everyone. We didn’t even know the couple was dating until their engagement was announced last October. Based on social media photos and videos, it seems like Sophie and Maisie were way more “coupley” than her and Joe. If Seth Rogen didn’t already have a beautiful wife, he would probably be married to James Franco. Seth and James have one of the most notorious and well-known bromances in Hollywood. Ever since their younger days on Freaks and Geeks, the pair has been inseparable. They have starred in over a dozen movies together from Pineapple Express, The Interview, and even Sausage Party. Just like the content of many of their films, we wouldn’t be surprised if the duo got a little raunchy and inappropriate on set sometimes.
When the pair released “Bound 3,” a parody video to Kanye West’s and Kim Kardashian’s infamous vid, viewers were convinced that Seth and James were romantically involved. How could a pair of male friends be this comfortable with one another? So comfortable that they were able to effortlessly recreate Kimye’s very intimate video. No one would be shocked if the intimacy we see in the video was actually translated into their daily lives. If Seth weren’t already married, this would be a couple everyone would probably be rooting for.

As wild and outspoken as Amber Rose and Blac Chyna are at times, their friendship is still one of the most genuine ones in Hollywood. From ex-lovers like Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Tyga, and Rob Kardashian these women have been through their fair share of high-profile celebrity boyfriends. Let us just take a moment to recall all the public drama between all of these celebrities. Most of the drama has been caused because of the Kardashians. Their messed up relationships have made for some great entertainment though. Even though their previous relationships ended in drama and tragedy, Amber and Blac Chyna’s friendship has been able to withstand just about everything.

Okay, we all know Ellen is newly married to her wife, professional dancer, Emma Portner, but we can’t help but fantasize about a Ruby/Ellen possibility. The pair have tension radiating from every photo and post they have together. Even when both Ruby and Ellen are with other people, their closeness and intimacy continues to shine through. Maybe these actresses should tone their lovingness for each other down a little. A few years ago, the Orange is the New Black actress posted the most heartfelt Instagram photo about her relationship with Ellen. Ruby stated that she was “grateful for everything [Ellen] is and will be to” her. What exactly is Ellen to you Ruby? A friend? Something more?
Ruby has even gone so far as to call Ellen her rock. Either this friendship is godly, or the pair had a secret, intimate relationship. It is heartening for all fans to witness our favorite Friends co-stars staying such close gal pals throughout the years. Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are literally the real life version of Rachel and Monica. Even though the show ended almost 15 years ago, Jen and Court’s relationship gives us the daily dose of Friends we need. Just like their characters, Jen and Court have been friends for what seems like forever. They celebrate birthdays, grieve divorces, and partake in text group chats together. These actresses are BFF goals. But, the love and support Jen and Court give one another may be a little more than just friendly.
Jen and Court have leaned on each other relentlessly after their divorces. Court was Jen’s major support system after splitting with Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, while Jen shared her love with Court after her divorce from David Arquette. Maybe there is more to this friendship than just being friends.

Fans of the Real Housewives of Atlanta series know that Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey’s friendship wasn’t always existent. Like most of the other housewives on the show, this duo had their fair share of arguments and issues throughout the series.
